Each room is individually-decorated, with dark hued wallpaper and interesting lighting choices, such as a fabric covered, stained-glass bird lamp. A desk with a soft, yellow-coloured chair provides for business travellers, as does the alarm clock and phone next to the bed, and the colour scheme continues across the canary-yellow and grey throw pillows. Wall-mounted TVs, artisan teas, Nespresso machines and minibar come as standard. Several of the rooms have a quirky bathtub near the bed, but a room divider is available for more privacy, if desired. Industrial fixtures, lighting and metal baubles in the lavatory make for more masculine feel, especially paired with the bookshelf and weathered globe decorations by the door. In the winter the rooms are comfortable but a bit dark with one small window overlooking the common. Central AC comes in handy during warmer months. In the restaurant, a hearty menu is paired with an extensive ale and wine list. Choose from pie of the day or top-end sirloin followed by homemade sticky toffee pudding and salted caramel ice cream. Sunday roasts are also popular and some of the best around.

The exhibition generated a substantial cash surplus, which the commissioners responsible for the event directed should be used for educational purposes. This was achieved in part by buying a large quantity of land in the vicinity, on the north side of Cromwell Road, some of which was used to create a new museum of the arts and sciences which is why the several famous national museums are located here today. Displays were quickly augmented by material subsequently donated and by loans from other museums or other sources. The new museum became known as the South Kensington Museum.

Nevertheless, important discoveries were made on all three sites, which enabled these mansions to be precisely located and some of their internal arrangements to be plotted.
A short pulse of energy is emitted into the ground and echoes are returned from the interfaces between different materials in the ground. The amplitude of these returns depends on the change of velocity of the radar wave as it crosses these interfaces.

Well of course as you can see the road never got widened! Turn right out of the courtyard and at the traffic lights take the road which veers off to the left. This is Bedford Hill.
